This tour takes you to the enthralling tour of cities of India like Delhi, Varanasi, Khajuraho, Jhansi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai, Cochin, Kumarakom, Thekkady, Madurai and Chennai. Explore the places of India where you will witness Houseboats, historical places, forts, palaces and museum.
Day 1: Delhi
The tour begins with the arrival of Delhi airport where you will be greeted by our representative. He will take you to your reserved hotel in Delhi. Relax after reaching in the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2: Delhi
Enjoy delicious breakfast in the morning and proceed to explore the monuments in Delhi. On the tour visit huge Red Fort which was the throne of ruling empire, Humayun’s Tomb and Rajghat – resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. Later on visit Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple built in the shape of petals of Lotus and India Gate made in memory of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for nation. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 3: Delhi – Varanasi (833 km via flight)
Early morning transfer to airport to board flight to Varanasi, the next destination. The holy city looks very startling at first sight but as you spend time here you will feel spiritual and gratified. On reaching Varanasi check into the hotel and relax for sometime. Your excursion will begin from Kashi Vishwanath Temple , Nepali Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. In the evening at the Ganga Arti at famous Dashashwamedh Ghat and then return to the hotel for relaxing overnight.
Day 4: Varanasi – Khajuraho (418 km)
In the morning enjoy your delicious breakfast and then you will be transferred to your next tour destination Khajuraho. On reaching there relax for a while and then visit world heritage site of Khajuraho Group of Monuments. The premises comprises of many temples dedicated to different Hindu deities. Some are built on platforms while some have multiple sanctums and various sculptures covering the walls and pillars. Night stay scheduled in Khajuraho, spend an exotic night.
Day 5: Khajuraho – Jhansi – Agra (412 km)
Delicious breakfast followed by the drive to Agra. En-route Jhansi and continue your tour towards Agra also known as City of Love due to Tajmahal built by Shah Jahan. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 6: Agra
Early morning visit to Tajmahal which looks amazingly beautiful and offers you memorable view. It is one of the seven wonders of the Earth and was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Next visit Agra Fort lying parallel to river Yamuna, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, Baby Taj. Later in the evening enjoy leisure walk in Mehtab Bagh from where you can get splendid view of Tajmahal during sunset. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 7: Agra – Jaipur (240 km)
Post breakfast you will head towards Jaipur – Pink City. En-route Fatehpur Sikri which was abandoned due to scarcity of water and here you will witness Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jodhabai Palace and tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Continue your drive towards Jaipur. On reaching there you will meet our representative and he will accompany you to your reserved hotel. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 8: Jaipur
Morning in the Pink City, enjoy a delicious breakfast and get ready to explore the culturally beautiful and colorful city. Visit Amer Fort which reflects the grandeur of Rajasthan and Enjoy Elephant ride. It is house to many palaces and overlooks Maota Lake where the view is mesmerizing, Jal Mahal appears like to float on the Mansagar Lake, City Palace where the inside highlights are Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Next visit Hawa Mahal made in form of crown of Lord Krishna. In the evening visit Birla Temple made of pure white marble devoted to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 9: Jaipur – Udaipur (393 km)
Post breakfast head towards Udaipur, the next tour destination of the tour. Check into the hotel and after that visit Lake Pichola and enjoy boat ride. You will witness Jag Mandir at Jagmandir Island and Lake Palace at Jagniwas Island. Next visit City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola, which offers stunning vista of the surrounding and many palaces inside the city palace. Later on halt at Bagore ki Haveli on the waterfront of Lake Pichola which has rare collection of items of Rajput clique, Lake Fatehsagar and Saheliyon ki Bari on the bank of the lake. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 10: Udaipur – Mumbai (760 km via flight)
Start your day with refreshing breakfast and then you will be transferred to Mumbai also known as “City of Dreams”. On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day enjoying or relaxing.
Day 11: Mumbai
Start your day with refreshing breakfast and then full day excursion of Mumbai will begin. Visit Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Rajabai Clock Tower, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus a world heritage site and the magnificent building of Brihanmumbai Corporation. All these amazing monuments were built during British Colonial Rule in India and now have become identity of India. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 12: Mumbai – Cochin (1539 km via flight)
Post delicious breakfast you will be transferred to Cochin. On reaching there, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day enjoying. Stay overnight.
Day 13: Cochin
Post breakfast visit St Francis Church, one of the oldest churches built by Europeans and the burial of Vasco Da Gama. Next halt The Roman Catholic Basilica of Santa Cruz where the façade is flanked by two massive towers, Jewish Synagogue with awe-inspiring architecture and interiors. Next visit Mattancherry and Fort Kochi where the inside highlights are Dutch huts. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 14: Cochin – Kumarakom (49 km)
Your day start with delicious breakfast and then you will be transferred to Kumarakom. Visit Vembanad Lake which runs from Kochi to Alleppey. Explore the scenic beauty by house boat and pass through the calm water surrounded by forests. Next visit Aruvikkuzhi waterfall where you will enjoy the cool breeze and spray of cold water falling from height. Later on halt Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is home to many birds and enjoy the view from motorboat. Next visit Kumarakom Backwaters blessed with nature’s beauty and offers you picturesque vista. Houseboats have all the facility like a hotel and you pass through the canal, lake and rivers. Enjoy the nature’s beauty and return back to the hotel. Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight.
Day 15: Kumarakom – Thekkady (122 km)
In the morning you will be escorted to Thekkady where you will visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary also a Tiger Reserve surrounded by dense forests, where you can view the whole surroundings on a boat. Next visit Periyar River overlooking Coffee and Tea Plantation. Later on halt at Mangala Devi Temple, inside the wildlife Sanctuary surrounded by dense forests. In the evening explore the Spice plantation and get to know about the different species. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 16: Thekkady – Madurai (139)
Post breakfast the tour will head towards Madurai. In the morning visit Meenakshi Temple where the bottom part is made from granite, situated on the bank of Vaigai River and is dedicated to goddess Parvati. Next visit will be at Puthu Mandapam, Tirumala Nayak Palace where the interiors design are influenced by Indo-Saracenic architecture and the interior are of Italian architecture. Later on halt will be at Gandhi Memorial Museum including number of items used by him such as Spectacles, yarn and many other things. In the evening visit Thiruparankundram, one of the oldest temples of Madurai devoted to Lord Murugan. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 17: Madurai – Chennai (462 km)
Post refreshing breakfast you will be transferred to next tour destination i.e. Chennai. On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 18: Chennai
Start your day with refreshing breakfast and after that visit Marina Beach, second longest beach in the world and enjoy walk along the seashore, where you will be mesmerized by the picturesque vista. Next visit Semmozhi Poonga, Queens Land where the ride on the roller coaster offers panoramic views of the city. Later on halt will be at Fort St George built by East India Company where the inside highlights are St Mary’s Church, Museum and Wellesley House. Later on visit Kapaleeswarar Temple reflecting unique style of Dravidian style. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 19: Chennai departure
After savory breakfast you will be transferred to Chennai airport to board your flights for your further journey.
