Day 1- Arrival in Delhi
The tour begins with your arrival on Delhi International Airport. A Elefantastic Travel representative will welcome and transfer you to the hotel where you can relax and spend the remaining day in leisure.

Day 2- Excursion in Delhi
After a savory breakfast in the morning you will start excursion in Delhi. First spot to visit will be the huge Red Fort of Delhi followed by Jama Masjid, Raj ghat-the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, and Humayun’s Tomb. Then post lunch visit India Gate through a drive past the Indian President’s House and Parliament House. In the evening there is so much to do in Delhi, you can do shopping in the streets of Chandi Chowk, try some tempting North Indian delicacies in Paranthewali Gali or visit the Hauz Khas Village and enjoy international cuisines.

Day 3- Transfer to Jaipur (240 kms)
Spend the morning in leisure and then pack your baggage to transfer to Jaipur which is the next destination of the Tour. On reaching the Pink City, you will check in the hotel and after some rest transfer to Choki Dhani to enjoy the rich Rajasthani culture and food.

Day 4- Excursion in Jaipur
After overnight rest in the hotel, begin the day’s excursion with the visit to Amber Fort. One of the most famous forts of the World, it is a World Heritage Site under the Hill Forts of Rajasthan list by UNESCO. Enjoy elephant ride to the fort premises, then head to the old Jaipur or the Pink City and watch the majestic Palace of Winds called the Hawa Mahal. Then visit Jantar Mantar and Birla Temple. In the evening you will be taken for visit to the Albert Hall Museum now called as Central Museum. Then return to the hotel and rest overnight.

Day 5- Transfer to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (240 kms)
On the fifth day of the Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi and Khajuraho, you will commute to the third city of the Golden Triangle of India, Agra, city which is home to the archaic beauty Taj Mahal. On the way to Agra you will visit Fatehpur Sikri also known with the name of Ghost Town, it was founded by Akbar, the Mughal Emperor. The city has the centuries old World Heritage Site of the Fatehpur Sikri Fort which houses many astonishing monuments such as the Buland Darwaza, the Panch Mahal, the Mariyam-uz-zamani’s Palace, Birbal’s Palace, etc; which are very adorably built and preserved. On reaching Agra check in the hotel and after some rest head to visit the most famous monument in Agra, the epitome of true love Taj Mahal.

Day 6- Transfer to Khajuraho (412 kms)
Morning in Agra, visit the Agra Fort, also called Red Fort as it is built with red sandstone and it houses several astonishing monuments like the Pearl Mosque, Shah Jahani Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, etc. Then visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, the tomb of the ‘pillar of the state’ whose name was Mirza Ghiyas Beg and he was the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal. The tomb is said to have inspired the structure and decorations of Taj Mahal. From Agra you will board an overnight train to reach Khajuraho.

Day 7- Excursion in Khajuraho
After the comfortable train journey you will check in the hotel in Khajuraho. Get fresh and get set to explore the Temple Complex of Khajuraho. One of its kind complexes of Hindu Temples in the World, the Khajuraho Group of monuments is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit and observe the beauty and architecture of temples like Kandariya Mahadev, Duladeo Temple, Vamana Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Devi Jagdambi Temple, etc. Spend the night in the hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 8- Transfer to Varanasi (400 kms) (by flight)
You can have a lazy morning in Khajuraho and all you will be doing is taking some rest and moving on to the next destination of the trip, Varanasi. The abode of Hindu God Shiva, Varanasi has been a pilgrimage site of the Hindus since time unknown and is considered as one of the holiest cities in the world.

Day 9- Excursion in Varanasi
Start the day early in Kashi or Varanasi. In the morning sail in the waters of holy River Ganga and watch the multiple banks of the river. It is surprising to know that in Varanasi, there are 87 river banks which are all used. After the sail, visit the beautiful temples of Varanasi including the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Tulasi Manas Temple, Nepali Temple, enjoy evening Ganga Aarti on the Dashashwamedh Ghat and seek blessing from Goddess Ganga. Night stay in Varanasi.

Day 10- Transfer to Delhi for Departure
The day concludes the Golden Triangle India Tour with Varanasi and Khajuraho. You will fly to Delhi Airport from Varanasi to board the connecting flight to your hometown. Leaving India with sweet memories we wish to see you soon again.
