12 Days – 11 NightsRajasthan Rural Life tour takes you to the rustic villages of Rajasthan which reflects the majesty, dignity, traditions and culture of Rajasthan. You will be taken on tour of villages like Samode, Luni, Mandawa, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Ranakpur, Jodhpur and more. Here you will witness forts; Palaces, museums and witness the rural lifestyle of Rajasthan from close and have a memorable tour.
Day 1: Delhi
After your arrival at Delhi airport you will meet Elefantastic representative. He will escort you to your pre-booked hotel. After that Visit Red Fort built using massive red sandstones, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar which is one the tallest masonry minaret in India. Then with a drive past the India Gate, President‘s House and Parliament House. Later on visit will be at Akshardham Temple and Lotus Temple. In the evening enjoy shopping in the vibrant bazaars of Chandni Chowk. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 2: Delhi – Mandawa (232 km)
Early morning wake up and get ready to travel to Mandawa for an amazing experience of this place. Mandawa is known for the magnetic Mandawa Fort which has impressive Sheesh Mahal, paintings and other amazing constructions. Also this place had a glorious past with several reputed families whose mansions are special attraction in Mandawa. Some of them are Murmuria Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Ladia Haveli etc. you will have night stay in the peaceful surroundings of Mandawa.
Day 3: Mandawa – Bikaner (193 km)
The day is scheduled for exploring Bikaner city of Rajasthan. Post breakfast transfer to Bikaner, which was founded by Rao Bikaji. In Bikaner you will visit the popular Junagarh Fort also called Chintamani which has alluring courtyards, entrance doors, pavilions, etc and also visit one of the largest private palaces of India, the Laxmi Niwas Palace which was former residence of Maharaja Ganga Singh and is a great example of Indo-Saracenic architecture.
Day 4: Bikaner – Gajner – Jaisalmer (329 km)
Wake up in the morning all relaxed and enjoy a fresh breakfast in the hotel. After that you will be driven to Gajner to visit the famous Gajner Palace and Lake which was founded by Maharaja Gaj Singh ji of Bikaner. Then travel to the next destination which is in the lap of desert and a famous attraction for the tourists in India.
Day 5: Jaisalmer – Sam (42 km)
On this day you will experience the beauty of desert. Jaisalmer although is situated amidst desert, but it nowhere lacks in its charm. The warm and happy faces all clad in colorful dresses is the grace of this city. After breakfast visit the World Heritage site Fort of Jaisalmer Fort also known as Golden Fort. Also visit the Bada Bagh where there are huge cenotaphs dedicated to the royal kings of Jaisalmer. Also Salim Ji Ki Haveli is a must visit place in Jaisalmer. In the evening you will be driven to Sam to enjoy Camel Safari in the golden Sam sand dunes of Thar Desert and then entertained by musical and dance performances by the local performers. Day 6: Sam – Jodhpur (240 km)
Start your day with breakfast and then you will be transferred to Jodhpur. On reaching there visit Mehrangarh Fort which reflects architectural style of various periods as it was completed in various periods as it was started, Umaid Bhawan Palace which is divided into heritage hotel, museum and royal residence. The next visit will be at Jaswant Thada a beautiful marble cenotaph with intricate carvings and lush green gardens, Mandore Gardens which reflects architectural style of bygone era and Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park and Kailana Lake where you will be mesmerized by the beauty of sunset. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 7: Jodhpur – Luni – Khairwa – Ranakpur (35 km – 90 km – 78 km)
This morning leave Jodhpur to explore onward destinations. You will explore the rural beauty of villages of Luni and Khairwa on your way to Ranakpur. The fort Chanwa of Luni village and Vijaynadi Mandir of Khairwa village would be the major attractions enroute. In the evening you will reach Ranakpur and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 : Ranakpur – Kumbhalgarh (50 km)
Today, have breakfast and explore the exquisitely carved temples of Ranakpur dedicated to Jaina lords. After which you will be driven to the wonderful site of Kumbhalgarh. On reaching there you will be transferred to the hotel for rest. Later in the day you will be taken to explore the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort hidden amidst the hills. Overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.
Day 9: Kumbhalgarh – Chittaurgarh (156 km)
Today after breakfast you will be driven to Chittaurgarh. The land of brave Rajputs warriors and dedicated devotees, the city is famous for the historic incident of Jauhar by the ladies of the capital. Here you will visit the Chittaurgarh Fort, where in Kalika Mata Temple, Rana Kumbha’s Palace, Vijay Stambh and Kirti Stambha, Meerabai Temple and Rani Padmini’s Palace are some impressive builds you will see.
Day 10. Chittaurgarh – Bundi (155 km)
After breakfast you will travel to Bundi. Travel in Bundi that boasts of the Grand Taragarh Fort built in 1354 AD. Despite being such an old fort, it doesn’t lack grandeur in any aspect. Also visit the Sukh Mahal and the famous cenotaph with eighty four pillars. Stay in a heritage hotel in Bundi and enjoy the calm atmosphere of this beautiful city.
Day 11. Bundi – Samode (250 km)
After breakfast you will be driven to Samode. Samode is an hour’s drive from Jaipur; here you will see the Samode Palace which is known for its captivating art and architecture. You will see attractive frescos, gleaming glass palace (Sheesh Mahal), paintings, colorful motifs and much more. Then visit the Samode Haveli that is decorated in a contemporary style and is a valuable asset to the state. Also visit the Samode Bagh which was worked out in the 16th century and has tents which are decorated blending the Mughal, Victorian and Rajasthani arts. Day 12. Samode – Delhi – departure
This would be the last day of your tour. From Samode you will be driven to Delhi where you will be dropped at the Delhi International Airport from where you will board the next onward destination flight.
