Day 1- Arrival in Delhi
The tour begins with your arrival on Delhi International Airport. A Elefantastic Travel representative will welcome and transfer you to the hotel where you can relax and spend the remaining day in leisure.
Day 2- Excursion in Delhi
After a savory breakfast in the morning you will start excursion in Delhi. First spot to visit will be the huge Red Fort of Delhi followed by Jama Masjid, Raj ghat-the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, and Humayun’s Tomb. Then post lunch visit India Gate through a drive past the Indian President’s House and Parliament House and visit Akshardham Temple. In the evening there is so much to do in Delhi, you can do shopping in the streets of Chandi Chowk, try some tempting North Indian delicacies in Paranthewali Gali or visit the Hauz Khas Village and enjoy international cuisines.
Day 3- Transfer to Agra (240 kms)
Spend a leisurely morning and pack your bags. You will be transferred to Agra from Delhi on this day.
Day 4 Excursion in Agra
The day tour begins with the visit to Itmad-ud-Daulah, the tomb of grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal. Then visit at the World Heritage Site Agra Fort. The fort is known to have been built in the 11th century AD, but the present structure was built by the Mughals in the 15th century. In the Agra Fort, visit the famous monuments inside the complex which show the artistry of the talented artists and designers of that time. Then visit the heavenly Taj Mahal, the most admired Mughal architecture monument throughout the world. Stay and relax in the hotel at night in Agra.
Day 5 Transfer to Jaipur (232 kms)
In the morning you will have a visit to the Taj Mahal during sunrise, to witness its beauty in bright sunlight. Proceed towards next destination Jaipur. En-route Jaipur, take a halt in Fatehpur Sikri, also called Ghost Town due to the remains of the abandoned Fatehpur Sikri Fort. The historical fort in Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a complex of several remarkable monuments like the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, etc. Continue drive and on reaching Jaipur check into the hotel and then you will be taken to Choki Dhani for experiencing some awesome Rajasthani food and hospitality.
Day 6 Excursion in Jaipur
Start exploring the monuments in Pink City after a delicious breakfast. First, drive to the Amer Fort and on the way, watch the magnificent Jal Mahal. Enjoy elephant ride at the Amer Fort, then drive back to city via Hawa Mahal and reach Jantar Mantar, the 280 years old astronomical observatory. Followed by this is visit to the City Palace of Jaipur and then reach the elegant building of Central Museum to watch a rich collection of artifacts and other items.
Day 7 Transfer to Udaipur (395 kms)
After breakfast head to the next city of the tour package which is Udaipur. Also called the Venice of the East, Udaipur is known for its extravagant palaces, hotels and the beauty of the grand lakes. Reach Udaipur and relax in the hotel after check-ins.
Day 8 Excursion in Udaipur
The day is reserved for touring in Udaipur. The rulers of Mewar have given Udaipur its most remarkable structure that is the City Palace of Udaipur. First you will visit the City Palace situated in the eastern bank of Lake Pichhola and then visit the famous Jagdish Temple. Lake Pichhola is a manmade lake and is famous for the floating luxurious hotels named Taj Palace and the Jagmandir. Next, have exotic Lake View of the Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Moti Magri. Spend evening in shopping handcrafted items in Udaipur.
Day 9 Transfer to Cochin (2265 kms- via flight)
Elefantastic Travel representative will drop you at the airport from where you will have to board the flight to reach Cochin. On arrival our representative will see you at the Cochin Airport and will accompany you to the hotel where you can rest after check in.
Day 10 Excursion in Cochin
In Cochin you will visit the Mattancherry Palace built in 1557 by the Portuguese, then visit the Jewish Synagogue and stroll in the local spice market in the Jew Town. During dusk visit the appealing sight of the Chinese Fishing Nets which are used by the local fishermen. Take rest at night in the hotel in Cochin.
Day 11 Transfer to Periyar (165 kms)
Have a tempting breakfast in the morning and drive to Periyar, another famous tourist spot in Kerala. The drive to Periyar is very refreshing due to the views of greenery from the cultivation of rice in most of the areas. On reaching change and relax for some time and then proceed for the visit of the Tea, Coffee and spice plantations. Shop for some pure Indian quality spices in the markets of Periyar and spend the night in the hotel.
Day 12 Transfer to Kumarakom (123 kms)
Morning visit to the Periyar National Park, spread in an area of 952 km sq, it is one of the largest national parks in Southern India.It is also a Tiger Reserve and there are numerous species of animals here like the Indian elephants, tigers, leopards, lion tailed macaques, Indian Bison, etc. You can either choose to have a Safari Ride or can have a boat ride in the national Park. After the visit drive to Kumarakom which is the next destination of the Classic North India & Kerala Tour.
Day 13 Kumarakom Houseboat stay
Kumarakom is known for the famous Houseboats of Kerala, called ‘Kettuvalam’ in Malayalam. Experience the tranquil waters of the sea and the refreshing breeze from the sailing houseboats. Equipped with all kinds of modern facilities, staying in the houseboat is going to be a unique and memorable experience.
Day 14 Transfer to Mumbai from Cochin for Departure
