Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

The tour Commences with your arrival in Delhi. On reaching here you will be met by Elefantastic Travel representative and transferred to the hotel to relax and refresh. You must take proper rest to remain energized throughout the journey in the coming days.

Day 2 Excursion in Delhi

Excursion in Delhi will commence soon after a delicious morning breakfast. You will be exploring the historical World Heritage Sites in Delhi like the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar and its monuments. Then with a drive past the India Gate, President’s House and the Parliament House you will visit the National Gallery of Modern Art. Moving from here you will also be visiting the Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple.

Note- The visit to all the locations also depends on certain factors like availability of time and the traffic on the roads. And please note that Akshardham Temple, Red Fort and the Lotus Temple remains closed on Mondays.

Day 3 Transfer to Kesroli (158 kms)

Spend morning in Delhi, you can even take a half-day unguided tour and explore the sights of your interest. Then you will be transferred to the next destination of the Rural Rajasthan Tour with Delhi. The second destination in rural Rajasthan will be Kesroli Village that lies in Alwar District of Rajasthan.

Day 4 Exploration of Kesroli Hill Fort

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the morning and then explore the beautiful Hill Fort of Kesroli. The fort was actually built during the 14^th century and is known for its appreciating huge verandas, turrets and the ramparts which are one of the best places to get picturesque views of the Kesroli Village and the wide spread green farms surrounding the hill. Dig into the relaxing atmosphere of this place and relax yourself while enjoying the ataractic air of Kesroli.

Day 5 Transfer to Ramathra (190 kms)

Post morning breakfast, you will pack your bags and leave for Ramathra which is famous for the Ramathra Fort in the Karauli district of Rajasthan. On reaching Ramathra check in and relax for the day.

Day 6 Exploration of Ramathra Fort

Relish a tempting breakfast in the morning. Then you will explore Ramathra which is known for the Ramathra Fort, the alluring countryside and the lake near fort. You can do boating, bird watching, trekking to the old forts, countryside and temples of Ramathra. In the evening enjoy Village Safari in Ramathra.

Day 7 Transfer to Shahpura (219 kms)

The next rural destination of the Rural Rajasthan Tour with Delhi is Shahpura. It lies in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan and was founded in 1706. It was a princely state who was ruled by different rulers at different times and they were entitled as Maharajas by the British. With a glorious past the Shahpura Bagh is an out of the league tourist destination of Rajasthan.

Day 8 Sightseeing in Shahpura Bagh

Have a savory breakfast and explore the amazing surrounding of the estate of Shahpura Bagh. It is a heritage retreat set amongst the huge orchards and two lakes defining the beauty of this gorgeous estate. Enjoy picnic lunch and exploring this large estate. Spend leisurely evening enjoying the tranquility of this place.

Day 9 Transfer to Deogarh (337 kms)

All you will be doing on this day is spending a refreshing morning in Shahpura Bagh and then travelling to Deogarh. On the way to Deogarh you will sight see small villages and common folk busy with their daily chores and working in the green crop fields. On reaching Deogarh check in and relax yourself.

Day 10 Sightseeing Deogarh/Devgarh

The popularity of Deogarh is growing with time and it is developing as a chief tourist place of Rajasthan. In Deogarh you will see the Deogarh Palace, Kunjbihari Temple, Anjaneshwar Temple, Charbhuja Temple, and Clock Tower. Deogarh also has meter gauge railway that passes through Kali Ghati hills on Aravali ranges and are known for several wildlife and bird sanctuaries. Stay at the hotel at night in Deogarh.

Day 11 Transfer to Narlai (72 kms)

Spend a lazy morning in Deogarh before moving to the next destination of rural Rajasthan. On reaching in Narlai you will have a stay in Rawla Narlai.

Day 12 Sightseeing Narlai

Enjoy a delicious grand breakfast in the morning at Rawla Narlai. This amazing palace turned into hotel was gifted by the founder of Jodhpur Raja Umaid Singh to his brother Ajit Singh. You can still see the historical frescos on the walls of the palace. You can also visit the grand Kumbhalgarh Fort which is half an hour drive from Narlai. Narlai is also known for horses which are still used by the locals to commute. Enjoy horse riding and visit the Ai Mata Temple here.

Day 13 Transfer to Osian (203 kms)

On this day you will travel to the next destination that is a village called Osian which lies in the Jodhpur district. Ancient kingdom of the Gurjar Pratiharas and Marwars who ruled this place is slowly being restored as a tourist spot of Rajasthan. On reaching check into the heritage hotel that will be pre-booked and then relax for some time. Now you will be exploring the famous ancient Hindu and Jain Temples of Osian which marked the identity of Osian on the tourist map of the state. Visit the Sachiya Mata Temple, Sun Temple and the Mahavir Temple. The amazing works and sculptures of the temple have lead to the entitlement of the name ‘Khajuraho Temples of Rajasthan’ to these temples. You will also enjoy Safari ride in the local village and come closer to the rural life of the people of Rajasthan.

Day 14 Transfer to Nagaur (143 kms)

Nagaur is the next destination of the tour package and we will bring you to Nagaur from Osian post breakfast. Nagaur is a small city between Jodhpur and Bikaner and it has its name derived from the historic Nagavanshi Clan of the area.

Day 15 Sightseeing Nagaur Fort

 Have a fulfilling and delicious breakfast before beginning the exploration in Nagaur. In here you will be exploring the brilliant work of the Nagaur Fort. The Nagaur Fort is a well located and very well preserved historical monument attracting tourists. Watch and walk through the premises to know more and also visit the Dadhimata Temple of Nagaur which has devotion of the locals.

Day 16 Transfer to Shekhawati (187 kms)

Morning in leisure followed by transfer to Shekhawati, the land of Shekhawat Rajputs.

Day 17 Excursion in Shekhawati

In Rajasthan Shekhawati is a region that was ruled by Maha Rao Shekha Ji who was the first ruler of this place. Shekhawati region has been ruled by Shekhawat Rajputs for more than 500 years. On this day you will visit the forts and castles that are nearby and then after a horse ride in the area, reach and relax in the hotel.

Day 18 Departure to Delhi

Since, the departure will be scheduled from Delhi; you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport to board flight to your home from here, thus, ending the Rural Rajasthan Tour with Delhi by Elefantastic Travel.
