We booked to take a City Tour and Elephant experience with Elefantastic and from the moment of enquiry the staff were all helpful and friendly.

We were picked up at 8am by our driver Hyder and our Tour Guide Abdul, straight away we felt at ease with them and Abdul talked us through what the itinerary for the day was. The itinerary was very flexible and we were allowed to choose throughout the day how long we spent at places, never feeling rushed. A bonus was that there was always cold bottled water and soft drinks waiting for us when we got back into the car, which was helpful in the heat!

One of our favourite parts of the tour was when Abdul took us on a walking tour through the Pink City, his knowledge and stories were fascinating and we learnt so much about the history of Jaipur. He also took us to a local place for a quick cup of Chai and some local snacks, which were great, as I don't think we would ever have entered the small local cafe on our own.

After the city tour and sightseeing we went onto have Lunch at Rauls (the owner of Elefantastic) home, the lunch was cooked by his Mother and was delicious.

Around 2:30-3:00pm, we went to the Elefantastic village. Raul greeted us and talked to us about how to interact with the elephants, we fed the elephants, painted them and then washed them down, even getting on the elephants back to give them a thorough clean! The elephants were treated impeccably and seemed to be happy, there was not a chain or a hook in sight (as I have witnessed in another elephant 'sanctuary' in Thailand). It was an unforgettable experience being able to interact with the elephants so close up. The whole elephant experience lasted around 3 hours and was finished with a bareback ride on the elephant for around 30-40 minutes.

The elephant experience of course was amazing, but I would also highly recommend booking a City Tour too as Abdul was the best Tour Guide that we've had in our 1 month trip to India, and really made the day for us both. Thank You! :)

What a fantastic day out. A full tour of Jaipur and then the highlight of the day, meeting the fabulous elephants. From start to finish I was in awe of these beautiful creatures. We fed and cuddled our elephants, rode them and washed them down. They washed us down too!!!! Then a home cooked meal. Nothing bad to say. An attraction you must visit for yourself as no words can give it justice. Five stars all the way !!!!

Definitely the best thing in Jaipur! Well worth every penny from being picked up and dropped off by ajit! (Very well mannered professional and informative driver) to everything you do with the elephants and then finished with a home cooked meal made for a great day! Would recommend a thousand times!

“We were travelling with our two year old and were worried about her not enjoying the trip or it not being suitable. Instead, what we got was a wonderful experience tailored for her.”

"Rahul works so hard and is trying to be honest and fair to visitors as he is to his elephants!! He does not give bribes to taxi or tour bus drivers. So both years, our drivers made up a story, like that he moved (really? How do you move 24 elephants across town), and tried to take us somewhere else. You MUST insist on going here, to Elefantastic. Call him from the road"
