Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
The tour sets in motion with your arrival on Delhi International Airport. Before commencing the exploration of several destinations you will be taken to the pre reserved hotel by Elefantastic Travel assignee so that you can take proper rest beforehand.
Day 2 Excursion in Delhi
Initiate the tour after a healthy and delicious breakfast in the morning. Then drive to Qutub Minar, the World Heritage Site of Qutub Minar and its monuments are one of the oldest in Delhi. The 73 meter high minaret is an architectural wonder. Afterwards visit the Lotus Temple, Humayun’s Tomb and drive past the President’s House and Parliament House of India to reach the memorial arch India Gate. The colonial times constructions are now Famous Tourist Monuments in Delhi. After the exploration of Delhi, return to the hotel to retire for the night.
Day 3 Transfer to Agra (240 kms)
After a relaxing night, this day starts early in the morning. Get ready and set in motion to Agra, the next destination of the Rajasthan Tour with Golden Triangle & Mumbai. On reaching Agra Elefantastic Travel will take you for a visit to the World Heritage Site of Agra Fort; built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD with marble additions by Shah Jahan, his grandson. The visit will be followed by visit to monument that is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. Return to the hotel at night and get a good sleep at night.
Day 4 Transfer to Jaipur (232 kms)
Early in the morning you will march to the Taj Mahal, watch this marvelous monument shining in the rays of the rising sun. Absorb this beautiful and flawless moment in yourself and return for breakfast. Then you will begin the trip to Jaipur. Shortly after Agra, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri and see the Fort of Fatehpur Sikri which is also a World Heritage Site. The fort has some unparallel architectural monuments like the huge victory arch called the ‘Buland Darwaza’, the Panch Mahal, Diwan-e-Khas, Jama Masjid and the Tomb of Salim Chishti. Continue the drive to reach Jaipur from Fatehpur Sikri. Reach and check in the hotel so that you can relax.
Day 5 Excursion in Jaipur
After a peaceful sleep at night, you will have excursion in Jaipur. Painted in pink, the city has several jewels in its crown and you will make the scene at all these places. The places you will visit in Jaipur are the marvelous Amer Fort, the City Palace of Jaipur, the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar, the Palace of Winds called Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple and the Albert Hall Museum. After visiting these awesome places, spend the night resting in the hotel.
Day 6 Transfer to Shekhawati (120 kms)
Relish morning breakfast and then set out to explore Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Shekhawati region basically consists of different areas of Rajasthan where there was rule of the Shekhawat Rajput rulers. You will be visiting the Dantaramgarh Fort, Khatushyamji Temple. Relax at night in the hotel.
Day 7 Transfer to Bikaner (222 kms)
After breakfast you will set in motion to reach Bikaner, which was founded by Rao Bikaji. In Bikaner you will visit the popular Junagarh Fort also called the Chintamani Fort that has alluring courtyards, entrance doors, pavilions, etc; and also visit to one of the largest private palaces of India, the Laxmi Niwas Palace which was former residence of Maharaja Ganga Singh and is a great example of Indo-Saracenic architecture.
Day 8 Transfer to Jaisalmer (330 kms)
Wake up in the morning all relaxed and enjoy a fresh breakfast in the hotel. Then travel to the next destination which is in the lap of desert and a famous attraction for the tourists in India.
Day 9 Excursion in Jaisalmer
Travel amidst the Thar Desert of Rajasthan and feel the charm of desert in Jaisalmer. Visit the World Heritage Site Jaisalmer Fort, the travel to visit Bada Bagh and Salim Ji’s Mansion. These are the monuments known for their unparalleled architecture. In the evening enjoy the adorable performances of dance and music by the local performers after a Camel Safari in Thar Desert.
Day 10 Transfer to Jodhpur (286 kms)
The day has to be started early and you will be travelling to Jodhpur. Have breakfast on the way and on reaching you will visit the featured Mehrangarh Fort of Jodhpur. It is one of the forts which has been declared as a World Heritage Site under the Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Also visit Jaswant Thada in Jodhpur which is another bewitching beauty on the land of this royal city. Indulge in relaxation at night in the hotel.
Day 11 Transfer to Mount Abu via Ranakpur (277 kms)
In Jodhpur have a refreshing morning breakfast and begin the drive to Mount Abu. On the way visit the Chaturmukha Jain Temple of Ranakpur. The temple is a Jain temple with idol of Lord Mahavir, the structure of the temple took more than 50 years to complete and then the this marvelous temple came into being. The artistic entrances, pillars, festoons and toranas are all admirable. The drive will begin again to reach Mount Abu. A small hill station of Rajasthan that is located among the Aravali ranges. Enjoy a boat ride in the tranquil waters of the Nakki Lake in Mount Abu and enjoy the beautiful landscapes.
Day 12 Transfer to Udaipur (163 kms)
From Mount Abu you will have a short drive to the Dilwara Temple, the magnificent Jain Temples of Dilwara are known for the exquisite decorative works on the walls, pillars and ceilings. After this visit, travel to Udaipur and check in the hotel on reaching. In the evening experience the charm of this city in a boat ride in Lake Pichhola.
Day 13 Excursion in Udaipur
The city was founded by Rajput Maharana Udai Singh II. He shifted his capital from Chittaurgarh to Udaipur and settled the Mewar Kingdom here. After breakfast in the morning you will be visiting the incredible City Palace of Udaipur. The City Palace is one of the most beautiful and frequented palaces in Udaipur. The other places you will visit are Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichhola, Lake Fateh Sagar, Moti Magri and Shilpgram. Take rest overnight in the hotel in Udaipur.
Day 14 Transfer to Mumbai (via flight)
Wake up and relish a delicious breakfast. Then transfer to the Maharana Pratap Airport and board flight to Mumbai. On reaching, you will be welcomed by our assignee and transferred to the hotel. Refresh and get ready to explore Mumbai. This is a city which is beautiful in day and night equally. Visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Siddhivinayak Temple. You can also spend some time at the Marine Drive at night and take a relaxing walk here.
Day 15 Excursion in Mumbai
Get up early in the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then get ready and visit the Gateway of India and the Taj which is opposite to Gateway of India. Then you will have a boat ride in the Arabian Sea to reach the Elephanta Caves. The caves were built around 5th to 8th century and have been sculpted on the hard basalt rocks. Dedicated to the Hindu and Buddhist gods, the Elephanta caves were declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987 and were restored after taking severe damage during the Portuguese rule. The other places to visit in Mumbai are Prince of Wales Museum, Rajabai Clock Tower, Mount Mary Church and Mahalakshmi Temple Mumbai.
Day 16 Departure
The 16th day of the tour marks the end of the Rajasthan Tour with Golden Triangle & Mumbai and you will be transferred to the international airport in Mumbai to board the flight back home. We will drop you there with the hopes to see you soon again exploring more of India with us.
