Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
The tour Commences with your arrival in Delhi. On reaching here you will be met by Elefantastic Travelrepresentative and transferred to the hotel to relax and refresh. You must take proper rest to remain active throughout the journey in the coming days.
Day 2 Excursion in Delhi
Excursion in Delhi will commence soon after a delicious morning breakfast. You will be exploring the historical World Heritage Sites in Delhi like the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar and its monuments. Then with a drive past the India Gate, President’s House and the Parliament House you will visit the National Gallery of Modern Art. Moving from here you will also be visiting the Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple.
Note: The visit to all the locations also depends on certain factors like availability of time and the traffic on the roads. And please note that Akshardham Temple, Red Fort and the Lotus Temple remains closed on Mondays.
Day 3 Transfer to Agra (240 kms)
On this day early in the morning you will be on a drive to Agra, the tourist capital of Uttar Pradesh. In Agra you will reach the hotel to check in and have lunch. Then you will visit the World Heritage Site of Agra Fort and then visit the wonderful Taj Mahal, the monument that marks identity of India in the World Tourism. After visiting Taj Mahal return to the hotel and rest after dinner in the hotel.
Day 4 Transfer to Ranthambore (256 kms)
The early morning sightseeing of the Taj Mahal in Agra is something you would never want to miss. The morning sight of the white marble beauty is something really incredible and it will remain in your memories forever. After breakfast, visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah, the Baby Taj of Agra which is believed to have inspired the decorations and art on the Taj. After this you will be travelling to the next destination that is Ranthambore. On the way to Ranthambore, we will halt at Fatehpur Sikri Fort. After the exploration, continue travel to reach Ranthambore and check in after reaching. Relax overnight in the hotel.
Day 5 Excursion in Ranthambore
Ranthambore is best known for the amazing Ranthambore National Park. The forest area of the park is spread in an area of 322 sq kms. The national park is famous for sightings of Royal Bengal Tiger and many other species of animals. In here you will be brought to the entrance of the Ranthambore National Park and the representative will get your reservations done. Enjoy the park’s safari in the jeep and watch the animals living in their natural habitats. If the time allows, you can also visit the World Heritage Site of Ranthambore Fort which gives amazing panoramic views of the national park.
Day 6 Transfer to Bundi (130 kms)
After breakfast you will travel to Bundi. Travel to Bundi that boasts of the grand Taragarh Fort built in 1354 AD. Despite being such an old fort, it doesn’t lack grandeur in any aspect. Also visit the Sukh Mahal and the famous cenotaph with eighty four pillars. Stay in a heritage hotel in Bundi and enjoy the calm atmosphere of this beautiful city.
Day 7 Transfer to Bassi (207 kms)
The next destination of your Rajasthan Wildlife & Heritage Tour is Bassi. After a good night’s sleep you can explore more in Bundi and then you will be transferred to Bassi.
Day 8 Bassi Exploration
The Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the western border of the Vindhyachal Ranges and is populated with several species of animals. Spread in an area of 288 sq kilometers you will watch several animals like jackals, chinkaras, civet, panther, langoors, crocodile, blue bull, horses, wild cat, hyena and many more. The sanctuary also has the Orai and Bassi dams which are an attractive sight in the sanctuary. After the safari you will have a visit to the Bassi Fort Palace which is a popular destination for tourists in Bassi. Take a stroll and relax at night after the dinner.
Day 9 Transfer to Udaipur (452 kms)
Have a lazy morning in Bassi and proceed to Udaipur after breakfast. Drive to Udaipur, the ‘City of Lakes’ which will leave you feeling exotic.
Day 10 Excursion in Udaipur
The city was founded by Rajput Maharana Udai Singh II. He shifted his capital from Chittaurgarh to Udaipur and settled the Mewar Kingdom here. After breakfast in the morning you will be visiting the incredible City Palace of Udaipur. The City Palace is one of the most beautiful and frequented palaces in Udaipur. The other places you will visit are Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichhola, Lake Fateh Sagar, Moti Magri and Shilpgram. Rest overnight in the hotel in Udaipur.
Day 11 Transfer to Rawla Narlai (289 kms)
You can relax and spend lazy morning in Udaipur. Post lunch pack your bags and get set to Rawla Narlai, away from the crowd of city, this is a real village of Rajasthan waiting to allure you. After reaching here you will have a stay at Rawla Narlai.
Day 12 Exploration in Rawla Narlai
Enjoy a delicious grand breakfast in the morning at Rawla Narlai. This amazing palace turned into hotel was gifted by the founder of Jodhpur Raja Umaid Singh to his brother Ajit Singh. You can still see the historical frescos on the walls of the palace that are centuries. You can also visit the grand Kumbhalgarh Fort which is half an hour drive from Narlai. Narlai is also known for horses which are still used by the locals to commute. Enjoy horse riding and visit the Ai Mata Temple here.
Day 13 Transfer to Rohet Garh (110 kms)
Today you will be exploring more of rural Rajasthan and get the opportunity to connect to the real culture of the state. After breakfast travel to Rohet Garh, the nest destination of the Rajasthan Wildlife & Heritage Tour. Check into the hotel in Rohet Garh and relax for some time. Enjoy walking and knowing about this place more, spend leisure time and rejuvenate.
Day 14 Exploration in Rohet Garh
Rohet Garh is all about relaxing and enjoying nature at its best. Have an amazing stay in the heritage hotel and enjoy different activities from small picnics to bird watching and horse riding. Spending time here will get you closer to the amazing lifestyle of the Maharajas.
Day 15 Transfer to Pushkar (271 kms)
After a savory breakfast leave for the next destination of the tour that is Pushkar. The peace and tranquility of this small city is very alluring and attracting. Reach after the drive and relax in the hotel after check in.
Day 16 Excursion in Pushkar
Beginning the day with breakfast get ready to explore Pushkar, this city got its name from the famous Pushkar Lake which is the prominent attraction of the area and is also considered as holy by the Hindus in India. Being a pilgrimage site, it is visited by many tourists throughout the year. The largest cattle fair in the country is held in Pushkar in the month of October or November. The sights of the fair are very entertaining and there are many amazing competitions held in it. Visit the famous Jagatpita Brahma Ji Temple in Pushkar and attend the Pushkar Aarti in the evening. Enjoy the peaceful surrounding and warmth of this city.
Day 17 Transfer to Jaipur (142 kms)
After appreciating and living in the felicity of Pushkar, you will be transferred to Jaipur, the Pink City, which is also the capital of the state of Rajasthan. On reaching Jaipur you will be directly taken to the hotel for unlaxing. In the evening, visit Chokhi Dhani and enjoy the sumptuous food and other delicacies amidst the friendly staff.
Day 18 Excursion in Jaipur
Commence the day with a nice breakfast and get ready to explore the Pink City afterwards. The first destination is none other than the World Heritage Site Amer Fort where you will visit. On the way you will also have glimpse of the luring Jal Mahal (Water Palace). With an astonishing grand ride on an elephant reach the outer courtyard of Amer Fort to begin your exploration. Next you will be visiting the fascinating City Palace of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple and the Albert Hall Museum watching the amazing architectural monuments of Jaipur. Thereafter return to the hotel to retire for the night.
Day 19 Transfer to Neemrana (150 kms)
Have a tempting breakfast in the morning in Jaipur and then you will leave for Neemrana with your luggage. Neemrana was ruled by the Chauhans and they have given Neemrana its identity through the famous Neemrana Fort. The fort is built in several tiers in the lap of the hills of Aravali Range. Here you can do all sorts of recreational activities and one can also enjoy riding on zip-line here which is really adventurous to try out. You can enjoy relaxing spa or swim in the pool relishing a wonderful feast in Neemrana.
Day 20 Departure to Delhi and onwards (120 kms)
Moving from Neemrana which is situated in Alwar near the Delhi-Jaipur national highway, you will be taken to Delhi from where you will board your flight for returning to your home after amusing yourself from the enchanting Rajasthan Wildlife & Heritage Tour with Travel Knock.
