Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Desert Safari Tour by Elefantastic Travel commences with your arrival in Delhi. Met at the International Airport you will be transferred to the hotel to get fresh and to relax.

Day 2 Excursion in Delhi

The day commences with a delicious breakfast followed by the excursion tour of Delhi starting from the World Heritage Site of Qutub Minar and its monuments to Humayun’s Tomb, then with a drive past the Indian’s President’s House and the Parliament House reach India Gate, the Arch memorial of the soldiers of the First World War. Then visit the Lotus Temple and Swaminarayan Temple in Delhi. After visiting these amazing places, return to the hotel for a relaxing night.

Day 3 Transfer to Udaipur (by flight)

On this day you will be transferred to the airport to board flight to reach Udaipur. On reaching check in and relax.

Day 4 Excursion in Udaipur

The day is reserved for touring in Udaipur. The rulers of Mewar have given Udaipur its most remarkable structure that is the City Palace of Udaipur. First you will visit the City Palace situated in the eastern bank of Lake Pichhola and then visit the famous Jagdish Temple. Lake Pichhola is a manmade lake and is famous for the floating luxury hotels named Taj Palace and the Jagmandir. Next have exotic Lake View of the Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Moti Magri. Spend evening in shopping handcrafted items in Udaipur.

Day 5 Transfer to Jodhpur (275 kms)

Jodhpur, the city founded by King Rao Jodha is one of the most frequented cities in Rajasthan. Here stands the tall and magnificent Mehrangarh Fort and one of the largest private residences in the world, the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Travel to Jodhpur from Udaipur with Elefantastic Travel and explore more of the acclaimed tourist state of Rajasthan.

Day 6 Excursion in Jodhpur

In Jodhpur we will take you to the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the most featured Indian forts in the Hollywood movies, Jaswant Thada which is a memorial of the powerful Kings of Jodhpur and we will also take you to the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Part of the palace has been converted into a luxurious hotel and the rest remains open for the tourists with a museum of special collections and gold plated paintings on the ceilings of the halls. Enjoy your visit and then relax at night in the hotel.

Day 7 Transfer to Jaisalmer (290 kms)

Jaisalmer is the place where the actual Desert Experience in Rajasthan begins. Jaisalmer is the largest city of Rajasthan area wise and sixty percent of the city constitutes of the Thar Desert and sand dunes. On this day you will drive to Jaisalmer, the Golden City from Jodhpur.

Day 8 Excursion in Jaisalmer

Post breakfast you will be taken for tour of Jaisalmer. It is called the Golden City due to the golden yellow color of the sand of Thar Desert. The places you will see are the World Heritage Site Jaisalmer Fort with the amazing monuments like Raj Mahal, Shreenath Palace inside its complex, Bada Bagh Cenotaphs, Salim Ji Ki Haveli (mansion). Apart from these you will be taken for a Camel Ride in the glazing sands of Thar Desert. Get entertained in the evening with the colorful musical and dance performances of the artists.

Day 9 Transfer to Bikaner (330 kms)

Commencing the day with a healthy and delicious breakfast you will now transfer to the next destination of the Desert Safari Tour that is Bikaner, the city founded by Rao Bikaji. On reaching here, check in the hotel for refreshments and relaxing.

Day 10 Excursion in Bikaner

In the morning you will be taken to Deshnok, 30 kms from Bikaner, it is famous for the Karni Mata Temple, also called The Rat Temple of Bikaner. Then return back to Bikaner to visit the famous Junagarh Fort known for its intricate architecture and design followed by visit to the majestic Laxmi Nivas Palace.

Day 11 Transfer to Mandawa (193 kms)

Set in motion early in the morning on this day as you will be exploring the rural Rajasthan. Drive to Mandawa which is 193 kms from Bikaner. Mandawa is famous for the beautifully carved Havelis and the Mandawa Fort. On reaching here explore the Sheesh Mahal and collection of Paintings in the Mandawa Fort. Then visit the gorgeous Saraf Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Jhunjhunwala’s Haveli, etc; and then Ride a Camel and wander around the periphery of this beautiful village. Enjoy stay in one of the Heritage hotels of Mandawa.

Day 12 Transfer to Jaipur (170 kms)

Drive to Jaipur after having breakfast. The drive is a 170 kms drive from Mandawa. On reaching check in the hotel and take rest after the drive. In the evening visit the elegant Chokhi Dhani premises for some real Rajasthani hospitality and food. Enjoy your evening here with delicious food, ambient atmosphere and vibrant arts.

Day 13 Excursion in Jaipur

Morning in the Pink City, enjoy a delicious breakfast and get ready to explore this culturally beautiful and colorful city. In Jaipur you will visit the Amer Fort, have a drive past Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal, then visit to the City Palace of Jaipur, then the Birla Temple and the Albert Hall Museum in the evening.

Day 14 Transfer to Agra (240 kms)

After sightseeing tour of Jaipur and knowing about the colorful culture of Rajasthan by touring different cities, you will head to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the famous World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri Fort and continue driving to Agra. In Agra you will visit the Itmad Ud Daulah and Taj Mahal on reaching here. Take a walk in the local market for some shopping and relax at night in the hotel.

Day 15 Departure from Delhi

Early morning visit to Taj Mahal for an enchanting view of the Taj during sunrise and then the day concludes the Desert Safari Tour Package with your departure from the Delhi Airport.
